Last
week I got to photograph a moving religious event here in New York
City. It was the annual pilgrimage of the Venerable Order of the
Sisters of Sacred Hue. Not only did get to photograph their ancient
rituals, but I was actually invited to participate, a privilige rarely extended to outsiders. I hope managed to capture some of the profound religious fervor shared by the Sisters
that day. My views were certainly colored by the experience. This was a long way from the East Bronx.
And finally: Mother
Superior Sister Boom-Boom and my old friends, the Lipshitz Twins took
a moment from their meditations to pose with me for a most memorable
snapshot.
