The Streets Belong To..............

Some people will tell you that the Spanish Civil War was won by the Fascists because the Communists and the Trotskyists were spending too much time shooting each other and the Anarchists were too pissed off at everybody to pay attention to the actual fighting. Or maybe it was the other way around. Whatever, the bottom line was the Fascists won and lots of good men ended up dead.

 Two years ago there were huge Anti-Trumpie Women's Marches around the country, including one in NYC that pretty much closed down Manhattan. There were some pretty creative signs;  there were even a few suggesting that #45 had un-natural relations with his mother. Today there was supposed to be a another March, but instead there were two marches. 

Seems some people who plan such things got pissed off at some other people who were also planning folks, invectives were hurled  and suddenly we had two marches.   Same shit, different generation? Either way, nobody seems to want to remember what happened last time either.  

I shot these at the uptown march. They had some fun signs.  And I learned that apparently 'motherfucker' is now a politically correct term ...... and most people don't know that there was a Spanish Civil War.
