Artistic Recognition ---Finally!

It is with great pleasure and no small bit of humility that I announce the artistic recognition I have just received from by no less an august body than the New York Museum of Modern Art (or MOMA as us Artists call her).

A few days ago that esteemed venue informed me that I had met their qualifications as an artist and was therefore to be awarded the privilege of receiving an Artists Membership!  What is more, I could purchase that membership at a substantially reduced price compared to the plain old regular membership that the rest of you have to fork over.  And with this membership I get to get into MOMA for free.  Well, technically I guess it's not free  since I had to pay for the friggin' membership, so big friggin' deal, right?  Yeah, and I can get a friend into MOMA for only $5, which lots less than the outrageous $25 admission said friend would have to pay if he did not know a Recognized Artist like me.

Today, having a half an hour before a meeting in MOMA's neighborhood, I decided to spend that time perusing the works of my fellow artists. Here are a few photographically interpreted artistic impressions of their work, presented by me (a newly Recognized Artist) for your artistic enjoyment. And I apologize for any less-than-complimentary remarks I may have made in regard to MOMA's previous choice of artists.  Or her maternal lineage.

OMG, Maury, you're REAL now! MoMA said so and I believe whatever my MoMA tells me. All of your heavy Freudian issues should now be resolved. Congrats, big time!

That said, I'm your friend and would love to "do MoMA" with my $5.00 artist friend. Any old day, let's find a time, yes?
